Can I exchange my tickets?

Can I exchange my tickets?

To exchange tickets for year-round programming at TIFF Lightbox, including New Releases and TIFF Cinematheque, visit TIFF Year-Round Account Manager.

To exchange your tickets, please follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to TIFF Account Manager.
  2. Click “My Events” and select your event by clicking "View Event Details".
  3. Click “Exchange.”
  4. Select the seat(s) to exchange.
  5. Select a new event from the list.
  6. Choose a seat from the interactive seat map and click “Add to Cart.”
  7. Review the details of your exchange.
  8. Submit your order.

Exchanges must be made 4 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event.

Can I transfer my tickets to friends or family?

Tickets for all events can be transferred through TIFF Account Manager.

To transfer your tickets, please follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to TIFF Account Manager.
  2. Click “My Events” and select your event by clicking "View Event Details".
  3. Click “Transfer.”
  4. Select the seat(s) to transfer.
  5. Fill in your recipient’s information and click “Transfer.”
  6. The transfer is only complete once the recipient accepts the tickets.

If your recipient does not accept your offer, then they will not be able to use your tickets. Tickets must be accepted 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the event.

Your recipient will receive an email from TIFF Customer Relations with instructions to accept the offer. You can cancel your transfer at any time through the link in your transfer confirmation email.
