Best-selling author Irvine Welsh joins us after a screening of the 2013 adaptation of his novel Filth for a conversation about his generation-defining work, from his celebrated debut Trainspotting up to his latest novel Dead Men's Trousers.

Irvine Welsh is a Scottish novelist, playwright, and short story writer. He is the author of Trainspotting, which was awarded the Scottish Arts Council Book Award, and eight novels and four books of shorter fiction. He currently lives in Chicago.
