For groups of 15–35 students in grades 9–12, from 10am to 2pm. $15 per student.
In this full-day workshop, students will work as sound designers and film composers, using everyday objects and tablet technology to transform silent-film clips with original music compositions and foley sound effects. Students will learn about the history of sound in film and the impact sound can have in storytelling.
Each class’ work will be available for secure download within two weeks of the workshop’s completion.
This workshop can be facilitated in French or English.
