  • Press & Industry screenings and events are only for accredited passes.

As part of the Canada on Screen programme, we present two compilations of some of the most significant avant-garde, live-action, and animated work ever produced in our country. The second programme showcases a wide range of animation: the cutting-edge, computer-animated Ryan, the more classical When the Day Breaks, the avant-garde feminist You Take Care Now, the groundbreaking work of NFB legend Arthur Lipsett, and one of the earliest computer-animated shorts, Hunger. Rounding out the programme is one of the most daring shorts ever made in Canada, Clement Virgo’s essential Save My Lost Nigga Soul.
