How to Use Mobile Tickets at TIFF
A quick guide to using your phone or device to get into the theatre at TIFF Bell Lightbox
Did you know that if you have purchased tickets to a TIFF film or event, you can use your phone or mobile device to get into the cinema, instead of a printed ticket?
We get a lot of questions about how the process works, so we put together a brief guide. Check out the words and videos below, and if you still have questions, get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling us at 416-599-8433.
Step 1: Go to tiff.net on your mobile browser. Press the "Buy Tickets" button in the top left-hand corner of the website. Fill in your login and password and press "Sign In."
Step 2: Press "All Events" to bring up your tickets. Then tap the Event for which you want to access your tickets.
Step 3: Tap on the Ticket for your selected event. Once the bar code loads, use two fingers to zoom in on it so we can scan it. You're done! Come on in and enjoy your film.
Step 4 (Optional): If you have an iPhone, you can add your ticket to your Apple Wallet for easy retrieval (do this before you arrive, and then you can just pull it up at the theatre entrance!). Just press "Add to Apple Wallet" and then "Add" in the upper right-hand corner. Your ticket will now be available, even when you're not connected to the internet, via the Apple Wallet app.
