Auction: Unlock Imagination with Demi Lovato
Bid to win a poster signed by one of the 100 most influential people in the world
In support of TIFF Pocket Fund, we’re auctioning off an autographed one-sheet movie poster from Smurfs: The Lost Village, signed by Demi Lovato and cast, as well as a framed original illustration from director Kelly Asbury!
Still only 24 years old, Demi Lovato has gone from upstaging Jonases in preteen fare to becoming a vocal powerhouse with altruistic inclinations.
Through courage and honesty, Lovato has become a role model to her fans (“Lovatics”), leveraging her popularity as a platform to speak to mental health issues and body positivity. For her efforts to help and protect children and teenagers, she has recently been selected by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Even more recently, Lovato lent her pipes to Smurfs: The Lost Village, a beautifully animated feature film — and TIFF Kids pick! — directed by Kelly Asbury (Shrek 2, Gnomeo & Juliet) and featuring an all-star voice cast (Lovato, Rainn Wilson, Danny Pudi, Mandy Patinkin, and Julia Roberts). In this all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette (Lovato) on a thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest to find the magical Lost Village.
