How do I get free tickets?

We recommend getting your tickets using TIFF Year-Round Account Manager; however, tickets are also available by calling Customer Relations at 416-599-2033 (toll-free: 1-888-258-8433) or by visiting the box office at TIFF Lightbox, 350 King Street West (maximum of two tickets per event). For any technical issues, please contact the above phone number.

I work/volunteer for a community seniors’ group and want to inquire about bringing a group to Silver Screenings. Can this be arranged?

We may follow up to request more information about your group (e.g., group mandate, demographics, group size) to ensure it is a good fit for our events. Please note that group visits must be arranged by a staff or volunteer representative.

How do I book free tickets for accessible seats?

Accessible seating locations are available in all cinemas at TIFF Lightbox, with access by elevator and escalator. To book accessible seating, please call our Call Centre at 416-599-2033 or 1-888-258-8433. For Call Centre operating hours, see here. Seating is limited and cannot be guaranteed; it is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To access tickets for year-round programming at TIFF Lightbox, visit TIFF Year-Round Account Manager and follow the steps below.

1. Sign in to TIFF Account Manager from your mobile device.
2. Tap the menu on the top left.
3. Select “My Events.”
4. Find your event and click "View Event Details".
5. Under “Tickets,” select your seat.

Tickets can be scanned directly from TIFF Account Manager or added to your mobile wallet.

Someone who attended another Silver Screenings event told me that there are complimentary Senior Presto tickets available for attendees. How does that work?

A limited number of complimentary Senior Presto tickets (2 per person per event) are available for Silver Screenings attendees for whom transportation costs are a barrier to attending. As of March 27, 2026, pre-registration is required and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you require tickets, please fill out the form located on the event web page by the indicated deadline. Individual event page web pages are linked above and each event requires you to fill out a new form response. As a reminder, the eligibility outlined by the TTC for Senior Presto tickets is seniors 65+.

There are no free tickets left for an upcoming Silver Screenings event. Can I still attend?

All Silver Screenings attendees must obtain a free ticket, and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, inventory may fluctuate. We recommend checking the TIFF Year-Round Account Manager regularly to see if more tickets become available.
