Every year, thousands of children come to TIFF to make their first movie memories.

TIFF runs dozens of programmes that give kids access to film and the moving image, including:

We believe that every child deserves a chance to explore the world of film, so every year we provide thousands of free tickets to kids who wouldn’t otherwise be able to experience our programming.

It’s our community’s way of sharing the love. It’s also a chance for adults to remember the magic of the movies, and to share it with the next generation of film lovers and filmmakers.

Little Film Lovers is a campaign to support these programmes, and all of the work TIFF does to give access to kids.

In 2018, we want to bring 50,000 kids to TIFF. Help us reach our goal by donating now.

"When I was a kid, monsters made me feel that I could fit somewhere, even if it was... an imaginary place where the grotesque and the abnormal were celebrated and accepted." — Guillermo del Toro

Every Donation Counts.

$9 gives one child the opportunity to attend a screening and see her/himself in a movie for free.

$55 brings five children, who otherwise wouldn’t have the chance, to TIFF Bell Lightbox for digiPlaySpace.

$216 allows an entire class to attend a TIFF Kids screening, free of charge.

$1,000 provides a free TIFF workshop experience for an entire class.

$1,500 pays for an off-site community outreach event. TIFF regularly hosts screenings, workshops, and educational programming in collaboration with community partners across the city.
