What ticket options are available for TIFF 2026?
You can choose from three main ways to experience the Festival:
Curated Ticket Packages. On sale in June, these packages provide guaranteed access to multiple screenings or events with a common genre or theme, with screening dates, times, and seating locations selected by TIFF. This is a great option for film lovers who want seats locked in for their favourite programme. These packages are only available to TIFF Members and Visa cardholders. For more information on Curated Ticket Packages, see here. Note: Curated Ticket Packages are no longer available for purchase.
Individual Tickets. Select single screenings to build your own custom schedule. Iideal if you have a specific list of must-see films. Tickets go on sale in August, with early access for Members.
Please review our Key Dates to find out when you’re eligible to buy tickets for TIFF 2026.
How much do Festival tickets cost?
Ticket prices vary for Festival screenings. Pricing for TIFF 2026 has not yet been released. Check out this page in August for more information.
How can I access a Festival ticket pre-sale?
TIFF Members will have access to ticket pre-sales between August 21 and August 27, based on Membership level. Please refer to our Key Dates to find out when you’re eligible to buy. The deadline to become an Individual Member to access an individual-ticket pre-sale is Tuesday, August 18.
To become a TIFF Member and receive a dedicated Festival pre-sale date, visit tiff.net/membership to find the best fit for you.
TIFF Insiders can purchase individual tickets before the public, but after TIFF Members. Become an Insider by signing up for The Weekly e-newsletter by Thursday, August 21. You’ll receive an access code on Friday, August 28.
Is there a limit to the number of Festival tickets I can purchase?
To keep ticket access fair for everyone, there is a strict limit of four tickets per screening, per account. This cap applies to both Members and non-Members.
How do I purchase tickets in accessible seating locations?
All Festival venues offer accessible and companion seating in each cinema. Seating is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Though we do our best to accommodate every request, seating cannot be guaranteed.
Tickets for accessible seating locations and companion seating can be booked over the phone with TIFF Customer Relations. TIFF Customer Relations can be reached at 416-599-2033 or 1-888-258-8433. See our hours of operation.
If I can no longer attend the Festival, can I get a refund?
All sales are final. TIFF has a no-refund policy on Festival tickets and packages.
What payment methods do you accept?
TIFF prefers Visa, but we accept all major credit cards across our venues and online.
Please note that on Insider Pre-Sale, presented by Visa, Visa is the only accepted payment method.
For in-person purchases, debit and cash are accepted exclusively at TIFF Lightbox. During the Festival, all other box office venues operate on a strictly cashless basis.
Does TIFF offer gift cards?
TIFF Lightbox gift cards are available for purchase in-person at the Steve & Rashmi Gupta Box Office. Gift cards may be purchased for any denomination and may be used for in-person purchases at TIFF’s Box Office, Concessions, or TIFF Shop.
Please note: Gift cards are not available for purchase online and are not an eligible payment method for purchases on TIFF Festival Account Manager or TIFF Shop’s online store.
Will any additional fees be added to my purchase?
All service fees and taxes are included for all ticket purchases.
