Where can I buy TIFF Festival Tickets Online?

TIFF uses specific ticketing portals depending on what you are buying and your membership level:

  • Ticketmaster.ca
Used for public single-ticket sales and Individual Member tickets during the Festival.
  • TIFF Festival Account Manager
Used exclusively for Festival ticket sales, including:
    • Curated Ticket Packages
    • Patron, Contributor, and Individual Member ticket exchanges
    • Priority single tickets for Patron & Contributor Circle Members
    • Press & Market delegate ticketing

Please note: TIFF Account Manager (Year-Round) is used for non-Festival events, year-round TIFF Lightbox screenings, and purchasing/renewing TIFF Memberships.

Pro Tip: Your Ticketmaster sign-in credentials work across all TIFF ticketing portals. Use the same email address for seamless access to your tickets.

Buying Tickets with Confidence

How to confirm a ticket is real:

  • Buy only through TIFF Festival Account Manager, or Ticketmaster.ca.
  • Always verify the website URL; avoid look-alike sites from search engine ads.
  • Do not buy from individuals on social media or other unofficial platforms.
  • Avoid screenshots or printed tickets, which can be copied and resold. Screenshots are not valid tickets.

Important: TIFF will not refund or reissue tickets purchased from unauthorized sellers and is not responsible for transactions made through these channels. Government ID and the original purchase credit card are required for confirmation.

Is there a preferred browser for online ticketing?

Ticketmaster.ca & TIFF Festival Account Manager works best when using the latest version of your preferred browser. Supported browsers include:

  • Google Chrome: Version 128 and above
  • Safari: Version 16.6 and above
  • Mozilla Firefox: Version 130 and above
  • Microsoft Edge: Version 127 and above

If you encounter errors, try refreshing your browser, switching to a private browsing window (such as Incognito Mode in Google Chrome), or clearing your cache and cookies.

If you continue to experience issues and require assistance, TIFF Customer Relations is available Tuesday–Sunday from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM at 416-599-2033 or 1-888-258-8433.

What if there are no tickets available?

Tickets for the Festival are in high demand, and ticket access is not guaranteed. When a screening runs out of available tickets, it is marked as “off-sale.”

However, inventory frequently fluctuates as seats are released leading up to the Festival. We recommend checking back regularly to see if more tickets become available.

  • Check Availability: Visit Ticketmaster.ca or check tiff.net/available for a real-time list of films with remaining tickets.
  • Try the Rush Line: If a screening remains off-sale, you can join the venue's Rush Line on the day of the screening. Any empty seats 15 minutes before showtime will be released to the Rush Line on a first-come, first-served basis.
