In order to make ends meet, when down-and-out musician, Dewey Finn (Jack Black), is kicked out of his band, he is forced to improvise by taking on the job as a fourth grade substitute teacher in a strict private school. What starts out as simply a job, quickly becomes much more as he unlocks his students' potential and love of music. This heartwarming film will have audiences toe-tapping as the class prepares for a battle of the bands competition.
