NEW DIGITAL PRESENTATION!
The great James Coburn takes the title role in this intriguing combination of psychodrama, character study and film noir, playing a nurse in a psychiatric ward who begins to doubt his grip on reality, and wonder if he would be better off as a patient. Directed by Hollywood veteran John Guillermin (whose credits include such diverse fare as the WWI flying epic The Blue Max, Shaft in Africa, and The Towering Inferno) and featuring atmospheric cinematography from John Coquillon (a Sam Peckinpah regular who also shot the Canadian horror classic The Changeling), Mr. Patman is notable for its edgy script and the fine performances from Coburn and the supporting cast, especially Kate Nelligan.
