Made for next to nothing and looking it, comedian Rudy Ray Moore's outrageously cheapjack blaxploitation flick has become enshrined as a cult classic. Sent to prison on a phony drug charge, Dolemite (Moore), the baddest pimp in town, is set free by the warden and promised a pardon if he brings down the crime empire of his rival Willie Green (D'Urville Martin), who framed Dolemite on the dope bust and stole his club to boot. With the help of his friend Queen Bee (Lady Reed, whose reading of the line "Oh Dolemite, I'm so happy" is one of the high points in cinema history) and her band of kung fu-fighting vixens, Dolemite sets out to take on every "rat soup-eatin' motherf#%*er" in South Central.
