Maverick moviemaker Guy Maddin joins us in person to present this spectacular double-bill: the Toronto premiere of The Green Fog, Maddin's found-footage homage to Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo, followed by a screening of Hitch's masterpiece of erotic obsession.

Guy Maddin

Guy Maddin is an installation & internet artist, lecturer at Harvard, writer and filmmaker, and the director of eleven feature-length movies, including The Forbidden Room (2015), My Winnipeg (2007), The Saddest Music in the World (2003), and innumerable shorts. He has also mounted around the world over seventy performances of his films featuring live elements – orchestra, sound effects, singing and narration. He is also a member of The Order of Canada & The Order of Manitoba.
