Writer-director Moze Mossanen and producer Teresa M. Ho join us for an introduction and post-screening Q&A.
Moze Mossanen is an independent filmmaker. His work includes the award-winning feature Dance For Modern Times; the six-part series The Dancemakers; Year of The Lion, which won three Gemini Awards and the Jury Prize at the Yorkton Film Festival; From Time to Time, which was nominated for three Gemini Awards; and Nureyev, winner of the Golden Sheaf Award and two Gemini Awards, including one for Best Direction. His most recent films, Love Lies Bleeding and Romeos & Juliets, were nominated for four Canadian Screen Awards. Mossanen's most recent documentary, Unsung, won a Canadian Screen Award. He is currently in post-production on the doc You Are Here.
Teresa M. Ho is President of 100 Dragons Productions. She has expertise in production, finance and business, bringing a practical tone to the creative forces in producing quality programming. She has managed multiple units on such productions as CBC/Netflix's Anne with an E and NBC Universal's reboot TV series Heroes Reborn. In 2015, Ho spearheaded 100 Dragons Media to create new and innovative screen-based productions. Her latest producing project, My Piece of the City, made its world premiere at the 15th annual Regent Park Film Festival.
